the first time i listened to soad i was impresed.After so many years,after black sabbath after dead kennedys,i found the perfect group.the SOAD.....and when this finished ...sorrow.I bought Tankians cd.....very good.I heard Darons songs....very good..................nothing is the same.not enough rage,not enough music,not enough lyrics,not enough hope.i do not beleive that this happened for money.whatever it is.................is not enough.someone can see it to Darons to Serjs to Shavos to Johns face.. I WANT SYSTEM OF A DOWN BACK.and i am not alone...how we fight for global piece if we deny to fight for peace each other

Idk... SOAD was amazing, but since they split I can appreciate their styles more individually. IMO Scars is better, but not by much.

System had this thing that tied the guitar with the lyrics and it makes you want to listen to the songs over and over again. Unfortunetly Scars nor Serjs album have this thing

Hey, I'm Agus! I think SOAD is one of the best bands I've ever heard, the songs and sound are unique and I love them. But is good to know that Daron and John (as Serj too) can do something different; I would feel dissapointed if they just play exactly the same, now this in a new stage in their own careers, they must do something with their own style (and they show us they can)
I like this band, but I live in Argentina and I can't get cd's and stuff here, and that's sad. So I'm supporting them from here, my way hehe.

Is like the greatest band that walks this fuckin earth, and scars is right there next to that. i love that they don't sing about sex, and stupid shit. they sing about real problems and real things that go on in this world. i'm french and i like soad (scars on broadway too) and i think soad was a very good band of metal but like a lot of good band of music he had to have a end ( like nightwish or other famous band).But i think it's not too bad because scars on brodway is a good band and serj tankien is a good singer (alone but good)

Respectfully, but honestly. What I see with System of a Down breaking up and going there different ways is exactly what happened with the Beetles. After the Beetles went there different ways they where never able to reach the level they did individually as they did together, because each member is only one part of what made them who they are. This is exactly what I see with all of the members of System of a Down. Yes, Scars on Broadway (being 50% of system) has impressed me as well as many other fans. However, Scars on Broadway is not System of a Down, and never will be. It is refreshing to see each member explore there own strong points, but when money, moods, and pride get in the way of superb music it is a tragedy for all of their fans who made them who they are. Hopefully, this is not a permanent hiatus for system. Ego's and money aside, I wish to see System of a Down (Which I hold as the standard for musicianship) creating music again and performing on stage combining there talents for all of their fans to enjoy once again.

I doubt Darron or any other member of Scars is going to read this post but, if they just so happen to do so there is one thing I personally would like you to know. Darron, I've always admired your crazy off the wall fashion styles and the way you inspired me to play guitar and John your drumming has always left my head smashing my knees. Now, a lot of the fans here are wrong when they say S.O.A.D is better then all your solo careers. Personally I think these are just the biased opinions of the people. I respect you fully for what you do because you made guys MADE S.O.A.D HAPPEN. Its just like mama always says "I brought you into this world, and I can take you out". I do ask however that you guys can have a reunion tour playing some of your classic works but, that's entirely up to you. FUCK THE WORLD LETS GET READY TO ROCK! SoB rulz >=)
